Sign up for one or two partners (or go solo) for a drama presentation from "Othello." Detailed handout will be given next class.

Playing with Shakespeare's language -- trading Shakespearean insults!

HW: Take the first 10 words from your vocab list and draw, print out, or cut out of a magazine a picture that illustrates the word. Tape or glue the picture onto A HALF SHEET OF PAPER. Put a handwritten (not typed) definition on the back of the half sheet.

Writing Rocks grammar lesson on putting commas after introductory adverb clauses. Students took notes on this, so be sure to get those notes from someone reliable (or ask me for the overheads) if you missed class.
