Dramatic presentations on Acts 2 & 3

As time permits, discussion and reading of Act 4

Read 4. 2-3
Create pictures of the next ten vocab words on HALF sheets of plain paper. On back of each sheet, write (don't type) the vocab word and definition. The words are: blank verse, castigate, discord, circumspect, edifying, defunct, consecrate, dilatory, discretion, dramatic irony

For SO PM2 and CHS AM classes, we had a quiz on 3.4

Finish watching Act 3 on video

Look at Emilia's attitude toward men in lines 97-100 and groups of 3 formulate a response to these lines from the point of view of one of the men in the play. One group writes the lines on butcher paper and SCANS them (marks out iambic pentameter) for review of what we learned last class. Remember -- you'll be responsible for being able to scan Shakespeare's lines in your drama presentations.

Discuss why Iago says to Othello, "...let her live" (referring to Desdemona)

HW: READ 4.1. THOSE WHO ARE SIGNED UP FOR PRESENTATIONS ON ACTS 2 &3 WILL GO NEXT CLASS.
